| Leaving at Christiane's. The first place where I stayed in UK and the last. |
Heute: 95km von Southampton nach Worthing,
endlich mit weniger Hügeln und weniger Hitze.
Aber bevor es losging,
gab es erst noch einiges zu klären:
Passagierdaten für die Fähre eintragen,
DHL fragen, warum die Sachen,
die ich nach Hause geschickt habe,
in Leipzig feststecken,
Routen laden, Campingplätze finden.
Also bin ich wie so oft
ein bisschen später aufgebrochen als gedacht
und habe für alles
ein bisschen länger gebraucht als geplant,
aber angekommen bin ich trotzdem.
Die Route war eine Mischung aus
wunderschöner Strecke am Meer entlang
und endloser Landstraße.
Unterwegs:
Äpfel pflücken,
kleine Fähre fahren,
Portsmouth und Chichester Cathedral,
ein traumhafter Sonnenuntergang.
Morgen stehe ich vor der Sonne auf
(Anna: 05:00, Sonne: 06:32)
und düse zur Fähre.
Und wenn ich dann in Frankreich bin
und über den Kanal
nach England grüßen kann,
kommen auch endlich mehr
lyrische Texte, versprochen,
sie sind in Arbeit.

finally with less hills and less heat.
But before I set off,

I left a little later than I thought

but I got there in the end.

of beautiful scenery along the sea
and endless country roads.

Tomorrow I get up before the sun
