Day 28: Tostedt - Hamburg

Heute: Die letzten 60km bis nach Hamburg.

Ein später, entspannter Start. 

Sonneschein. 

Waldwege.  

 

Dann: Industriegebiet. 

Hamburg-Harburg. 

Ich sehe die ersten Hafenkräne. 

 

Das fühlt sich

nach zuhause an.

 

Elbtunnel. 

Landungsbrücken. 

St. Petri. 

Ich brauche kein Navi mehr

ich kenne den Weg.

Hallo Hamburg!

 

 

Und dann endlich: 

Ankommen. 

Matthäuskirche. 

So viele tolle Menschen, 

die sich freuen, dass ich wieder da bin. 

Sekt und Snacks, 

Gespräche und Lachen, 

was für ein Willkommen. 

 

 

Jetzt sitze ich hier

und kann es noch garnicht 

so richtig glauben. 

 

Danke für alle Nachrichten. 

Für Zuspruch und Ermutigung.

Für alles Mitfiebern und Mitlesen.

 

Dieser long way home 

war mir eine rieisge Freude

und es war mir ein Fest, 

hier davon zu berichten.

A late, relaxed start.
Sunshine.
Paths through the forest.  
Then: Industrial area.
Hamburg-Harburg.
I see the first harbour cranes. 

This feels
like home. 

Elbtunnel.
Landungsbrücken.
St. Petri.
I don't need a sat nav any more
I know the way.
Hello Hamburg!

And then finally:
Arriving.
St Matthew's Church.
So many great people,
who are happy that I'm back.
Champagne and snacks,
conversation and laughter,
what a welcome. 

 

Now I'm sitting here

And I can't quite

believe it yet.
